 Charles Leutzinger received his Bachelor of Arts degree in classical archaeology from Lehigh University with honors and graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 1976.
Dr. Leutzinger completed internship in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 1976 and remained at Yale-New Haven Hospital to complete his residency in Radiation Oncology in 1979. He stayed at Yale to serve as Chief Resident and for a research fellowship in 1980-1981.
After completing his training, Dr. Leutzinger joined Radiation Oncology Associates at the Elliot Hospital in 1981 and has been involved in the expansion of high-quality radiation oncology services in Dover, Nashua, Concord and Exeter. He has been a member of the Governor's Committee on Radiation Safety since 1990 and an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the Dartmouth Medical School since 1992. He has been proud to be the medical advisor to New Hampshire's first radiation therapy training program at the New Hampshire Technical Institute since 2003 and to serve on the Board of the Peterborough Players, one of our state's most remarkable cultural assets offering a full season of professional theater every summer since 1933. |
